Hi there everyone! Hope all well!
For my Creative writing Class, our last assignment is a photo story. I want to do one with my bushwalking photos and need a song that's about getting out there and enjoying life! living life to the fullest, really positive stuff! You know?
Any Ideas would be wonderful!
Thanks Guys,
Molly.

Well it's all a matter of personal taste really. I tend to listen to alternative, modern releases. Some suggestions for the Creative Writing Class to enjoy while they watch your excellent slides:
Up temp stuff:
- 'In your light' by Gotye
- 'It's nice to be alive' by Ball Park Music
- 'Set me Free' by Xavier Rudd
- 'Time to Wander' by Gypsy & the Cat
- 'Addicted' by Bliss N Esso (language warning)
Low key / moody stuff:
- 'A Forest' by Nouvelle Vague
- 'The Suburbs' by Mr Little Jeans
- 'Campfire' by Angus & Julia Stone

I sometimes annoy my youngest son by singing this when we occasionally walk together...well, attempting to sing

. I usually save it for the more difficult sections when he is grumbling and I pretend to be doing it easy

I had plenty of ideas until I read that you wanted 'positive' music. Unfortunately that rules out 85% of my music
Wed 16 Nov, 2011 9:07 am
Proclaimers "I would walk 500 hundred miles"
John Denver "You fill up my senses...."- Annies Song
Dixie Chicks "Wide open spaces"
"Theme from Superman"

We used to sing that with the nuns in primary school...memories
check out the following link, it's the most inspiring thing I've seen for...gawd I don't know. I put it on when I need a smile. The song doesn't have particularly inspiring lyrics, but the music is so 'uplifting' and his smile at the end - wow, you can feel the exhilaration! I can't help but laugh along with him

Check out Samskeyti (or Untitled 3) by Sigur Ros - if I were to use any song for a creative clip using wilderness shots, this is it. In fact any song by Sigur Ros would suit. Also a band called Hammock have some cool dramatic instumental type stuff. For something a bit more lyrical, Natural Disaster or Fitz and the Dizzyspells by Andrew Bird.
