Are there any forum members who also fly (paragliders)?
Looking to get a setup and get out and haven't found any local flying forums

I once sat in seat 1A on a Qantas flight. I was really disappointed that in addition to the exit row responsibilities, the cabin-crew did not tell me that I was sixth in command of the plane. The way I see it; if the pilot, co-pilot, and all of the cabin-crew are incapacitated, then surely seat 1A has to step up and take command.

Thank God I always choose to sit in Row 17 then!

When I was a young and keen "sapper" in the Royal Engineers I decided to check what it would be like exiting a Plane at blooming great height good fun but not worth an extra couple of bob a week
I did do enough to get my "wings" though

Well my answer to the question in the subject line - yes, I'm one of those
As for getting into paragliding, or even paragliding in general - I haven't the foggiest idea!
