IF YOU TRULY HAVE NOTHING MORE PRODUCTIVE TO DO WITH YOUR TIME, this site should soak up a few hours of it naval gazing on climbing everest....
to a certain extent it is a reasonably frank portrayal of the circus there....

I really liked the bit about the first Playboy Bunny to reach the top, expecting to enjoy the view, peace, tranquility, etc. Instead she found the summit full of people nattering on their sat-phones, then she added to it by calling three people to tell them she was up there. :roll:

Maybe there's something to be said for those SPOT thingies where you just quietly press a button to tell all your friends "I made it".

thats irony for you isnt it.. cant get peace on the highest peak in teh world, compulsory ban i say on using phones on peaks.....
