Oh I really dislike car shopping

My little Kia is still driveable and almost roadworthy but is has over $3ks worth of cosmetic damage. New bonnet plus the full plastic front assembly which includes the fog lights etc.
If the insurancre company writes it off and I get the shell back I guess I'll try and source the bits at wreckers yards

We cancelled the insurance claim.
I've managed to get a S/H bonnet and bumper for a reasonable cost [ $300] so after the exchange has been made I'll get a roadworthy and change the insurance to 3rdParty F&T and drive it until it breaks down from old age.
Or until I hit a deer or another kangaroo but I may fit some bigger brighter driving lights, the factory lights are fine for city driving but don't throw far enough or bright enough for the country roads I often travel on
