Simon Yates in Launceston

Postby Phil » Tue 03 Jul, 2012 8:18 am

Hi guys

Just read in 'The Examiner' this morning that British mountaineer Simon Yates aka "The man who cut the rope" will be in Launceston next Wednesday night (11th July) as part of a national tour. He will be speaking at The Tramsheds at Inveresk, starting at 7pm, tickets are $25. Apparantly you can book by phoning 1300 720 000 or online at http://www.worldexpeditions.com

Would be well worth going I reckon!

Yeah I enjoyed his launnie presentation. He talked a lot about his experiences around Tierra del fuego. Some awesome photos from his Mt Vancouver trip.
