Some people have no sense of humour. I'd post my previous avatar as a suitable response, but as some of those humourless people frequent this forum it'd be more trouble than it's worth.

x2 - What has happened to society. Why are people constantly looking for opportunities to be offended. How do you call a crack at vegans racist.....they are not a race just people who don't eat meat.
Surely this is no more offensive than having a crack at someone who likes beer or doesn't like broccili :?

You watch the news/infotainment....it's not news anymore.....and all you get is a pile of misery and if the misery isn't sufficiently miserable they try their best to make it as miserable as possible.

I heard a comment this morning along the lines of vegans needing a sense of humour to which the TV personality rebutted, well I'm vegan sensitive..........is this all we have left........a very sad state of affairs.

NNW can I join your social misfits anonymous.....we'll never have to meet.

Donning flame proof suit now.

Finally worked up the courage to watch it. As with most Australian ads, it's fairly entertaining but to the usual poor standard of production.

That's how it works. Anyone who wants to join is automatically enrolled - as long as they don't ever even think about suggesting we go for a walk (or anything else) together.

Sadly the ABC is following suit to try to get more audience.

Sadly the ABC is following suit to try to get more audience due to political interference.

Fixed.

I liked the ad, not an epic but still funny. But inevitably the professional offence takers have crawled out of the woodwork to lecture the rest of us on what is acceptable.

On the face of it, seems astonishing that a particular diet could lead to a complete loss of a sense of humour.

But on reflection, perhaps such a restricted diet could make anyone a dull, boring, humourless person.

Sounds like he is a vegetarian, not vegan. There is a difference.

I thought vegetarians didn't eat meat and vegans ranged from not eating animal products (cheese, eggs, etc) to more extreme vegans that refuse to use them in any form.

So I finally got around to watching the ad, it's quite funny. I think the vegans may be overreacting just a tad.

Yep funny stuff but not the best.
He's been having a go at vego's for years and I reckon the the best line was...those soap avoiding...tofu eating...dole bludgers was more offensive but this went through to the keeper...more sensitive nowadays.
As far as food goes we had a lamb roast on Australia Day and half of our regular weekly eating includes vegan,
