We had this little fella fly into our Poptop last night.....we didn't realize until this morning, Wendy thought it was a big moth that had gotten in with all the other bugs

Where were you when you saw the bat? Your location can narrow down the possibilities.

Hi tried using the book Cronins Australian Mammals without luck. The first pic may be a juvenile. Small ears, no tail and fleshy nose doesnt match the 39 shown in the book! And your second pic is wearing designer horte courture, obvious tail and webbing may help identify.

I've only ever known them as Microbats. I believe there's a few species of microbats though.

I'd suggest you email your photos to the Australasian Bat Society and ask them
