Hey all. I was just told today about something that happened back in 1984 or so when I was a wee toddler.

Me and my family were hiking in the Victorian High Country somewhere (My family cant recall exactly where), and we were approached by a photographer who said that they were from Wild Magazine. They wanted to take a photo of me and my father hiking together, and said that it would likely end up being on the cover. Supposedly it did as well, so I am very interested in finding the issue.

Being that I was 2 years old, this would mean that it would be a cover from the period of 1984 - 85 or so. The only description that I have is that it was a photo of me and my father hiking together, with little old me walking behind him with my little hessian bag and my blue teddy sticking out of it.

My Mum is adamant that it ended up on the cover, so I'm hopeful that if anyone has any covers from that time that they'd be able to post them in here for me. If you do have a copy, PM'ing me would be the best bet as well.

Although Trove says they've got Wild from '87 onwards, it appears that Libraries Tasmania has them from 1981 onwards.
