Hmmm ... not sure where this belongs, if anywhere. But I've been thinking and writing about how we and other critters deal with the cold.

:lol: Yep - if that particular place had polar bears, it would be.

The guide told us that orcas (killer whales) were the main predators here. The seals are fine while they're on the ice ... but they get hungry. And once they slip back into the water to feed, they sometimes end up on the orca menu ... gobble gobble :twisted:

Ooh! I've always wanted to see a killer whale! Did you see one? :) Looks like a beautiful place to be!
