Now before the mods rush in and close this down  this is a plug for any interested parties (young upcoming surveyors) to be part of a bit of fun.

This maybe a light hearted effort now but not so when NSW and the locals couldn't sort their differences.

Maybe something mums and dads can talk about to the younger generation.
So all you present and budding future bush lovers that like the outdoors maybe an opportunity to look at a career that pays for you to travel and see the country in a way you can never do as a tourist.

There is actually a company planning making this north-south border an attraction. The 42nd Parallel basically passes through Ross. Some classmates of mine had the privilege to work with the company designing the interpretation panels that a proposed to appear on the highway and in Ross itself. Interesting concept, but I'm not sure its a healthy one.

To the sounds of banjos ;)
From what I have been told the brewery north south divide is south of Tunbridge which is 20km south of Ross. Does this reflect the superior quality of the beer in the north? And also illustrates that it would be hard to define the actual point of the divide.

Being originally a northerner, and drinking the northern beer, I must say I prefer the southern variety now. They do a much better stout!
