Now that Daylight Savings has changed over, you might need to adjust the settings for your profile so that things appear at the correct time.
On the top left corner just under the logo, click on
User Control Panel.
The third tab along the top is
Board Preferences.
Second last option is
Summer Time/DST is in effect:Click yes/no as appropriate, then click on Submit.
Time is fixed!

(You should be able to take the short-cut and click on the
Board Preferences link I have included.)

It's that time again, people.

Don't forget to adjust this setting in your forums
UCP if you're concerned about the forum time stamps appearing to be an hour out.

Cheers for that, was just "fretting" about the time being diplayed incorrectly!

UCP>>Board Preferences>>Summer Time/DST is in effect: = No.
Just bumping this to let new members know, and to remind others, to adjust your time settings. Summer time has ended in Tassie.

Sun 13 May, 2012 4:09 pm
well I'm obviously not doing something right.
Logged in and my time is fine.
logged out and I'm an hour out.
I've checked all my settings on this board and my laptop and both set to current local (Tas) clock time = UTC + 10.00 and daylight saving NOT on and yet I get the weird changes.
Must be missing the obvious. It doesn't really worry me but I have wondered why so just asking.
Edit: Here's a screen shot , logged in on left and logged out on right

Curious why we share time with Current local time in Vladivostok?
Standard time zone: UTC/GMT +11 hours
Is this what the issue is?
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

I've just fixed the board settings to be NOT daylight savings time, so that should fix the time for 'guests' (ie, people not logged in).
We share the same time zone with Vladivostock, because we're close to the same longitude as them.

Bump... first Sunday in April yesterday... so hop to it people!
Sat 22 Jun, 2013 9:25 am
This seems to be still an hour out.
"It is currently 22 Jun 2013, 10:23"
I'm set on UTC + 10 hours and time is only 9:23
Is the site still on summertime?

Thanks for the bump -- I completely missed this thread sorry.
Good news/bad news
Good newsEasy to fix -- go into your user settings
http://bushwalk.com/forum/ucp.php?i=165and switch DST on
-- Yeah it now works when you are logged in .
Bad newsI have it switched on site wide for people not logged in but there is no easy/reliable way for me to make this change for every one.
I can add it as a tip in the next emag.
hope that helps.
happy walking
Matt
