Yes I noticed that as well and wondered what happened.
Happens to me too on Helicopter Rescues in Tasmania as well as BigKev Interview. It has been like this for a week or so.wildwalks wrote:Thanks all, I am not able to reproduce this issue sorry.
Can you include a screen shot (of as much of the screen as possible) when it happens next, that will help me to better understand.
thanks
Matt

I think I found the issues with the 'unread' post (I think). Keithj basically had the right idea -- well done. It seems to happen if someone makes a post and then deletes it (and no one posts again). The thread tracks the deleted posts time and the most recent existing post time, but since there is no post matching the deleted post time, it never gets marked as read. If my theory is correct, then once you visit BigKev and Tassie Helicopter threads (the last page), they should be marked as read (if they are not now). But the extra post count number will still exist, I think I will let that one stay for now.

As I said, I've had that issue for the last six months and no matter how many times I click on the thread - even go through every page of it - it still marks it as having an unread post.

Same poster as last time, too. Are they a jinx?
