TIP: The online
Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

Note that the middle one does not have a battery included and the others are a real 1500 mAh, not 2600. I personally use Romoss brand power banks from eBay but beware of fakes.

Grabbed one of these just now at my local. Does anyone know if the blue light is supposed to stay on all the time?

I actually prefer the ones without the battery because:
1. I know the quality of the battery I am putting in there.
2. They are more flexible weight-wise - I can take just the power bank with 1 battery for a weekender, or I can take a spare(s) for multi-day expeditions.

Apparently it's not. Swapped it for a properly functioning unit.
