TIP: The online
Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

Hi Guys, after some info, i know its a tent thread but im new to this business and i want a couple of opinions. My plan is to travel by motorcycle to different parts of the country and then hiking from a base.
Im after a tent that packs away reasonably small for the bike, is ok in reasonably cold weather, and is not overly expensive,
say between 150-200 dollars. i wont be in it for weeks at a time.
The vango zenith was the first choice but they seem to be getting harder to find?
Thanks, Matt

I had a look for you and found this one...
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vango-Tour-200- ... 1552797769...seems to be what you want. Now to find an Aus supplier!
'Vango Turini 200 Motorcycle Tent'
or
'Stelvio Turini 2015 Biker Motorbike Lightweight'

What about a Vango Banshee 200? Fits 2 people (realistically 1.5 people), and is only 47cm long in terms of compact carry size. Cost $179 delivered to Aus.
Very good reviews. Looks quite windproof. I just ordered one.
