TIP: The online Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

Some new photos of the Enan from the OutDoor 2014 show taken by Hiking in Finland's Hendrik.

End vents

Those end vents certainly look substantial.

Thanks for the close ups. I didn't realise that the ends were capable of being completely opened to mesh only. That venting area is at least two to three times the area of the Akto end vents, maybe more.

I'm still sceptical about the loss of convection due to deletion of the top vent, but those massive end vents MAY compensate. Certainly if it also had a top vent I would be pretty positive.

We need someone here to take the plunge and give us a report from our perspective :)

i found the enan is available to buy now from a few US online stores. after adding the postage costs and doing the exchange from $US to $AUS, it would cost me $870. seems a bit excessive?
