If you go the replacement front, it's an easy disassembly process. You just need to get some Torx screw drivers. There are 2xTorx T6 screws on the back case, and once you remove the battery back, there are another 4xT6 screws (two at top and two at bottom). Once they are removed, you should see the circuit board. There is one last Torx T5 holding the circuit board to the front casing, roughly near the joystick.
Quite a simple process for a waterproof device.
