TIP: The online Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

S2S insulated air mat

Just a very quick review until I get to use it in snow
Comfort plus Insulated Large Rectangular
203 * 65 * 65
1015grams
R Value ~5

I bought this from Opsi and I can see why he on-sold it if he isn't 6 feet tall
Unpacking [ and it was brand new and never opened] it seemed LW and fragile but despite its appearance it blew up very very hard indeed with about 20 breaths each side.
First impressions only; is that it is slightly warmer and a bit more comfortable than my old Thermarest 3/4 and being lighter it may just become my own winter pad as I value my warmth and comfort.
The independent aircells do seem to work
it isn't the lightest pad but being the same size as my Ridgerest Solar they will mate together well and the combined R-Value will be more than enough for touring in winter
Compressed size is not small but reasonable at around 4 litres, which is more compact then the big Mountain Designs pad I humped last year and a half of the weight
Ve are too soon old und too late schmart

Have used mine inside mostly, but I got to use it outdoors last weekend. Absolutely love it. Very comfortable and the right width for me.
