Costco Fleeces

TIP: The online Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

Grabbed one of these from Costco yesterday for $29 and I'm quite impressed. Polartec Microfleece fabric. Will be back again today to grab another one!

Their down jackets at the moment seem very low on fill.

Also picked up the same polartec 1/4 zip in brown today whilst in there for the monthly sweep. Plenty of L/XL, a few Ms while S is a rarity. Spot on 240g for the S (tags removed). Perfect as an in-the-pack no frill mid-layer.

Can't go wrong at $29. Plenty left at Costco Ringwood.

Ignore the brand, it is meaningless. The down jackets in store at the moment are identical in every way, except the fill weight, to the Patagonia Down Sweater. I would be very surprised if they were not produced by Patagonia.

I was just joking about the brand name. To be absolutely correct, it's Kirkland Signature. ;)

As for the down jacket, I missed checking them out. I doubt it's Pantagonia though, but OEM factory somewhere.
