TIP: The online Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

Ordinary builders tyvek (the scrunchy type less favoured) can be easily turned into nice soft no-scrunch tyvek by just running it thru a cycle or two in the washing machine. I've made quite a few footprints for tents, pole and peg bags etc just using the standard DuPont lettered white tyvek then washed them and they've all come-out nice and soft and hey-presto......no more rustle and scrunch and the stuff is still 100% waterproof. Cheers
