TIP: The online Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

Aarn USA Clearance Sale

Not much use to us in Australia unfortunately... but the distributors of Aarn packs in the US are closing down and are having a clearance sale.

Nice prices if you are paying in US dollars and are in the US (free shipping).

(I have no affiliation with AarnPack/AarnUSA)

Anyone have a US address I can use to get one? The harness on mine is pretty well dead.

The more important question is, why is Aarn closing their US outlet? Not getting the volume? Doesn't sound healthy for the business.

As for the sale, they seemed to have some old 2010 models. That bear canister holder could be difficult to source once the US store is gone. ;)
Just move it!

heaps of competition in the states, and if Aarn hasn't managed to get in the mags, and get coverage, easy for them to get missed. I would have thought that they would be in places like REI and MEC in Canada, seems it would have been a fit, but if they didn't pick them up, it would be hard to hit the mainstream. The front pack would make sense for bear spray and such.

Too bad for them, but for being a small market, packs are a very crowded industry.

No. Just USA and Canada. But it is mostly older gear. The Load Limo is the old model, like the one I need to replace - which is fine by me, I know how to set it up.
