You may all know the type
made from the absolutest lightweight polartec fabric or polyester tricot knit and with no sewn seam at the wrist; just elastic at the back
My pair have been reduced by loss of the left glove and I am desperately chasing replacements
I bought some OR liner gloves and not only are they too thick and heavy but the sewn seam rubs my wrist raw and I can't turn them inside out due to the silicon dots all over the palm
You know they were good because they stopped making them

These are one item I am happy to pay postage on as they are so lite

Mine were purchased from a motorcycle shop? or Rays Outdoors? a few years ago as liners for leather gloves but they worked wonderfully under my OR Latitude glove and mitten combo to give me a 3 layer set
I stopped using them for a while when I got the Mutant set but I think I'll go back to them for touring and keep the Mutants for base camp use; the Latitudes being much lighter

He sells liner gloves which appear to have a long cuff, although not what I would call a gauntlet. Sorry my Microsoft won't allow links.

Right sort of style but wrong material, although the Icebreaker liner is probably good for the motorbike I don't like woollen liners for wet weather skiing; the same goes for silk liners and for similar reasons

If you haven't already, browse around some of the UK and Euro motorcycle gear sites. I can't remember names other than Nippy Normans, which is more hardware than software. If any more come to mind, I'll post them.

The weather makes for some pretty tough motorcyclists over there. A lot of them aren't of the fair weather variety which predominates here, and they need clothes to suit.

I feel your pain on the seams. Deadbird Phase liners, or Extremities Thinnies might work.

What have you got against merino, or the new synth merino blends? You can fully woven stretch liners which are what I prefer.

Merino takes too long to dry out and doesn't transport the moisture away from my hands fast enough and the polypro gloves while good at that are too thick to fit inside my gloves
