Bunnings is now selling Gasmate's version of the Jetboil for $99.99.

At $4.50, it's matching the Campmaster canister price at KMart which from experience is often out of stock.
The Gasmate isobutane/propane mix is 75%/25% compared to the Campmaster's 74% isobutane/butane 26% propane mix.

Thanks, mate. I have a trip to Bunnings in the near future and can stock up on gas at the same time.

Curiously, the Bunnings website warns that you "may require help to carry"!

I didn't buy the squat canisters but I did pick up a pack of hairspray canisters for $6- because this walk I'm using the Kovea Cobra system and the 4 pack should last the trip.

If you don't use it at very low temps (close to or below zero) butane is less expensive and the cans are lighter.

Grrr... These are listed as "out of stock" at all Launceston and Devonport stores, and only one of three Hobart stores has them.

Ditto for North Geelong now.
Also the cheap but good windshields and other bushwalking type gear

Just had a look. Says May require help to carry
Total Weight 500gkg . So they seem a bit confused whether it's 500 g or 500 kg which is why you get the warning.
