Sorry if this has been posted before but..
I tried some Foster Clarks quick custard (just add boiling water) with a teaspoon of sugar and a chopped up semi dried banana for a desert treat the other night whilst out walking, it was very good in my opinion and will now be on my menu for all walks, I used half the 80g packet for one serve. I might try it with dried pears also.....

For those who need to know, their egg custard mix is the only gluten free option available, which is great for Mrs whisky as there are not many bushwalking dessert options in the gluten free area. The other one we often use is buttermilk pancake mix. Or even both! with chocolate and whisky or a bit of muscat - mmmm, might even have it at home!

The Fosters stuff works well. Not a big custard fan but you can add a few bits of chopped up chocolate as well , stir and eat. Makes it psychedelic if you don't over stir or chop the chocolate too small!

yes, this is tasty and light to carry! Make sure you add the sugar or it will be very lumpy
