Not sure if it applies to the 600T, but on my Oregon 450 I have to tile the maps into smaller, lower resolution squares using a conversion program that I can't remember? MapC2MapC??

As tastrax suggested, copy the KMZ file to the /Garmin/CustomMaps/ directory and make sure it is enabled in the Setup/Map settings.

The older Oregon units had a ridiculously low KMZ 100 tile limit. The Oregon 600 has a 500 tile limit across all KMZ files.
