Wasn't quite as easy for me. Seems if you had Google Plus (paid product from years ago) then it left a setting in the registry that causes an issue. All sorted after a few emails to GE for a new key.

No problem! Probably only the hard-core users will see any benefits from the pro version. I use it mainly for loading up my GPS waypoints/tracks into the satellite imagery.
Plus its ruler tool (set to path) is damn handy for getting rough approximation of non-straight line distances.

I had some computer troubles and have just tried to reinstall this but it doesnt seem to be working. Has anyone else had issues?

Attached file showing that the disable button can't be clicked. Anyone know how to turn off this time slider?
