holux funtrek 130 and memorymap.

Living in the uk, we have no acess to the holux funtrek 130 handheld gps other than purchasing from austrailia or new zealand,
Now my problem, i own both the adventurer 2800 and 3500 back here in the uk, but would like to have a go at the funtrek 130.
I own quite a lot of version 5 mapping from memorymap and would love to be able to load it onto the funtrek.
Problem 1, memorymap europe state it cannot be done.
Problem 2, memorymap aus/nz state it can be done without problem.
Whoose advice do i take, i don,t really want to end up with a plastic paper weight.
