And speaking of rain, last week there were some wild storms off the NSW coast. It developed from local downpours as you can see in the first pic (over land the air was just too dry to kick start the clouds), but once offshore got the moisture it needed to really generate momentum and develop into large cells.. these were taken from Bald Hill in Stanwell Park...
