Overland Track Images

Postby whynotwalk » Wed 30 Jul, 2014 12:59 pm

Hi Overland Track photographers. A friend of mine works with Parks and Wildlife and she's looking for a couple of fairly specific images to be used in some Overland Track printed material. Photographers would be credited, of course, but I get the feeling they'll be wanting the image free :? ... She asked if I could put a call out here, saying:

We’re looking for a highly appealing photo that says “Walk me!” e.g. lovely day, blue skies, stunning mountainous scenery, two or more well-prepared walkers with packs, photo must be on main section of track (i.e. not side trips). And also we're after a very appealing image - doesn't have to have people - that can be used on the Overland Track pack pass. It MUST be from a normally accessible part of the Track.

If you think you have some great images - within those parameters - PM me with your contact details, and I'll put you in touch with her,

cheers

She could always search Flickr's creative commons archive for photos: https://www.flickr.com/search/?q=overla ... =all&adv=1

Just make sure you meet the CC licence conditions.
