Just finished the olt solo from Cynthia bay to cradle mountain lodge....I used to think those trekking poles looked silly but honestly do not think I could have finished this trip without them. To the lady who very kindly offered to swop waterbottles to save me from a massive backtrack to echo point hut - yours seems a lot nice than mine - if you'd like it back, email your postal address and I will send it to you.
