Overland track hiking partner or group

Postby red4kev » Thu 21 Nov, 2013 6:31 pm

Hey, I'm a 23 year old guy from Ireland doing some solo travelling and looking to do the Overland track in the next while. I'm moving over to Hobart on the 25th of November so anytime in December, January or February I would be looking to do the 6-8 day hike! But seeing as I've never done a multi day hike before I'm currently looking to see if anyone would care to join me?

I don't mind about age, gender or any other preferences just as long as you're willing to do it from start to finish.

I would also like to point out that an idea I've had is to do it for Christmas day and into New Years. So if anyone is wanting a unique holiday season please feel free to ask and hopefully we can arrange something very soon.

At that, if anyone has any questions about either myself or possible dates/times to start this track, let me know.

Thanks and I look forward to hearing from people

The trail is booked out for the end of December, with the exception of one spot on the 25th. Get in quick if you want it!

There was a post by handstroy regarding sharing transport for an OLT start on 25th Dec. it's in the same section as this post. Maybe send a Private Message to him?
We can learn a lot from crayons. They come in different shapes and colours, but they all have to live in the same box
