What’s the deal these days with getting up onto Abbotts Lookout?

How have people been negotiating access with the bike park?

You'll have to get the bike park shuttle to the top. Normally a single uplift with a bike is $35. Don't know if it would be any cheaper if you're a bushwalker without a bike. give them a call to find out.

There was a thread about this a few years ago when the bike park first opened, but it'd take some scrolling to find.

I went to Marriott's Lookout in October 2020, and all you have to do is get in touch with the bike park and let them know your plans. They'll give you a lift up to the top even if you're not riding. I think it might have been $12.

Uphill road walks are never that fun in warm weather, so I was happy to pay. At the same time though, I'd totally understand not wanting to do that.
