Update April 12, 2015 9:20 AM
After we received an interview report with other former foreign participants of the trekking group last night, we are now able to pinpoint the area where Dennis got lost.
This morning a helicopter was dispatched from Pokhara to shuttle all search party members into that target area between Khobra and Bayali. (see orange high-lighted spot in the satellite map below)
Policemen and local helpers were also summoned into this area to help us to look out for Dennis. Fact is now that Dennis Lee never went walking out of the trekking group.
He got lost while he followed the porters who were walking in front of him to set up camp. The main group of clients was far slower that the porters and Dennis.
When they arrived in Bayali they realized that he had never reached the campsite. They searched frantically for two full days and alarmed the family only after they could not locate him.
