A lot of water down there.

Had been thinking somewhere around the valley of the waters... is it from Lyrebird lookout?

I can't remember it being from Lyrebird lookout, but definitely not far from there, on the Overcliff/Undercliff track overlooking Valley of the Waters. All yours.

Looks like Namadgi. Are you on Gibraltar Peak?
Thu 05 Sep, 2024 10:39 am
It is Namadgi, but a fair way from Gibraltar (which isn't in Namadgi anyway

). Some of the distant hills might be visible from Gibraltar though.

. I'll continue my research...

Is it possible you are on Gudgenby?

Overshot it. I'm about half way between yours and the previous answer. This is easier to get to than the gudge... involves some off-track but nowhere near as much.

Orroral?
I have not done Orroral yet or Split Rock.

Split Rock is on the list. Walked past it once on the way to Mount Murray.
Now to Victoria:

Mount Buangor?
Fri 06 Sep, 2024 10:09 am
Can't be Mt Buangor, because there are no views from there. And It's not on the nearby Buangor Lookout. But I think it has to be on the Beeripmo Walk. Maybe looking south to Mt Cole?
Fri 06 Sep, 2024 3:45 pm
Oh you guys are good! That is close enough because it is on Sugarloaf on the Beeripmo Walk.

Thanks Chris. I haven't been to Whitsunday Peak but the photo has an air of familiarity about it.
We had our honeymoon at Airlie Beach a thousand years ago and visited some of the nearby islands.
Let's stay in QLD:

We passed close to the waterfall a couple of minutes earlier.
There is a visual clue bottom RH corner if you expand the photo.

I was looking for the name of the waterfall, but I am on the train. A bit of a rocky view.

Not Barron Falls. There was a significant clue in my previous post.

Actually really small rocks on this waterway. We passed over and beside the falls.
