[After the Fagus leaves have all dropped]

Maybe a clue?
I could have kicked myself for not going a little higher.
This was the view higher up 36 years earlier.

Would that be Oakleigh perchance?
Mon 29 Jul, 2019 10:17 pm

Walford Peak?
Wed 31 Jul, 2019 1:40 pm
You have the Tyndalls on your brain. Nope, not in that area.
Wed 31 Jul, 2019 1:50 pm
My first thought was The Hippogriff, but I don't think the mountains in the background line up.
Wed 31 Jul, 2019 3:54 pm
That isn't surprising as you're still much too far north.
There's something wet more or less behind me.
Wed 31 Jul, 2019 4:23 pm
Looks like Hesperus area?
Wed 31 Jul, 2019 5:19 pm
On Greycap - presuming the wet thing is Lake Peddar?
Wed 31 Jul, 2019 5:28 pm
Never heard of Peddar. But yes, on the side of Greycap looking over too the high point.
Wed 31 Jul, 2019 5:40 pm

Wed 31 Jul, 2019 7:19 pm

Wed 31 Jul, 2019 7:19 pm

Wed 31 Jul, 2019 9:23 pm
And coming in Last but on the money - Mt Wellington it is.
{if you click on it and blow it up you will notice all of the Mt Field area in the distance. Close in is Thark Ridge and Collins Bonnet}
