Still going the wrong way. Go back to Tin. Then to Silver. Then consider the possible (nomenclaturian) connections to another lake in the general area...

That was a cute clue.
Satellite view suggests a large marsh there - and spring explains how wet it looks.

It is a nice little walk in the north of the Park Tortoise.
It is an easy walk ( as long as you pick the right spot to get off the OLT). Gives some different perspectives of the the mountains too, as per Eggs shot.

OK sorry, I was taking a cue from Doogs' music reference. It's close to Stacks, closer to Sphinx and the indy rock tune about cutting one's hair was by a band that shares a name with .....

That must make it Pavement Bluff, at first I thought the clue referred to Byatts Razorback. Unfortunately I couldn't see more than 5 meters in front of me on Pavement so I couldn't check my photos.
