Its a wonderful evocative photo SbS.
The Eldon skyline was reasonably discernable - and it was from an angle similar to the view from Frenchmans but much closer.

It is a favourite track of mine [3 times] - but so few people seem to go on it.

Definitely can see one of the markers that leads to Hansons Peak up on the ridge there. I reckon you are only a few hundred metres down the Hansons/Twisted Lake track.

Possibly tassie's least spectacular mountain, but some great views from it. This next one isn't one of my photos and I don't know what waterfall it is, but if someone out there does know, I'd love to find out and go there myself someday.

I'm guessing it could be one of thousands of unnamed cascades. It looks pretty small, compared to the size of the ferns. I had a quick look at waterfallsoftasmania.com.au, but that didn't help.

I think there's actually another topic for asking for help to identify a place - might be a wider audience there.

Possibly tassie's least spectacular mountain, but some great views from it.

Lest too many nasturtiums be cast upon it, I rather enjoyed Emmett. The friend I took did as well - in the end. It was her turning point from thinking she couldn't do boulders at the start of the Big Boulder Field, to deciding they can be fun. :D

Hey, Penny West has a cool cairn on it! Unlike Lorymer, Charter, or some of the NE mountains...

Spot on about Lorymer. I rather liked Charter; at least there was a bit of pretty forest there. Henry and Blackboy are definitely nonentities - enough so to make me give up on the rest of the minor NE peaks.
