Don't think it's right but reminds of descending from the Sentinel Range.

Your remindering is apparently better than your thinking. Sentinel Range it is, with the Gordon River Rd, and Clear Hill in view. Over to you, John.

Thanks Tortoise :). I had deja vu looking at it but we did that walk in intermittent rain/cloud. My own photos captured most views, but not that one :roll:.

On Mt Field East looking over Wombat Moor (?) towards the Denison Range in the distance.
I haven't been there for many years, but I want to see Lake Nichols again because of the wonderful snow gum forest there.
Woops, that's Windy Moor, Wombat Moor is on the way to Lakes Belton & Belcher...
If I am right, anyone can go.

Reeds Peak? I can't remember if there's a summit cairn up there or not, but it doesn't look like dolerite.

Reeds Peak is conglomerate, which is what that appears to be. I don't think it's there though looks more west coast, Mt Darwin?

Yeah that was I was thinking when I made the guess. The dolerite reference was in regard to the earlier guesses of northeast peaks.

There's at least one stick in the summit cairn of conglomerate Claude. Can't remember if any vegetation is visible. Wouldn't want to be up there on slippery rock in rough weather. :shock:
