Framing Eldon Bluff with the two pointy bits helped heaps. Otherwise I might have gone for Olympus. :roll:

Most people are used to seeing that thing up there from a different angle.

I've only really seen it from The Needles but could it be Mt Mueller from the track SE of Fossil Lake?

It might be Mueller, but if it is it is from the other side probably from Styx Road or the slopes of Bowes

Mueller, yes. Now I have to decide
a) whether either of you are close enough to award it and if so,
b) who would be closest.

I have too much to do today to be overly pedantic with this one, so I'm going to let someone have it. Not Styx Road or Bowes, but further along Mueller Rd than the Bowes turnoff, so it's technically between the two guesses, but RicktheHuman wins because of the Bowes option. Which might not make sense to anyone else, but it does to me.

Yeh it sure is. When i lived down that way i used to camp at the Snowdrifts via Sny Sth rather than use the Nevada track.

Looks Parson and Clerk-ish, but I don't remember seeing a ridgeline like that.
Maybe you're looking at up Billopp Bluff from a spot south along the range?
