Which direction did you do it in?

Up Murchison, around the high ridges, down to Sandra. There was a star picket up on the ridge that I assumed marked the best spot to start the descent. Well, you know what they say about assumptions.

I've made a few of those in my time! We went the other way. Once we found the start of the track, it was easy to the lake. Then we had a bit more scrub than I think we needed to have. Not for long, though.

Not Massif either, but that's a tad closer than the Acropolis. I probably should have given you a bit more to go on. One of the lumps is an Abel. The other is an adjacent unnamed peak.
Of course, there are a lotta Abels around there...
