Yep, my first thought was the Black Bluff Range in picture... So maybe from Mt Everett?

My experience on Everett was a bit more scrub and alot less pastoral land. Though it was about 10years ago.

We are in the NW, and that is Black Bluff in the cloud, but not from either of those peaks.

Yep that's the place - at the Griffiths Ridge viewing point on the PCT, just before you drop straight down to the river again.
