Thanks, Eggs & Icefest. I couldn't think what it would be apart from the Notch, but I don't remember that much vegetation on the side of Lot. Eve Peak's been on my list for a long time. Maybe this summer, with a side trip back up Anne.

I've convinced myself that it's likely on the Tasman Peninsula.
So I'll try the Cape Pillar area, maybe looking at Tasman Island from The Blade?
