More hints: in the Cotian Alps. Near a famous hut (Sella) and just below the east face of a prominent peak.

Thanks, with those extra clues it was easy enough to track down. Without clues international photos can be particularly difficult unless you've been there.

Here's one from Canada. I'm only looking for the name of the small tarn in the foreground. Bonus points for other features:
