Sheeese, that only leaves 2 states that I can think of and it looks gloomy and atmospheric, hence, ergo and thus I'm going with Alaska.

Well done Greg. Yes it was beautifully gloomy and atmospheric. Paddled to a remote cabin in the woods on this lake maybe an hours drive from Ketchikan.
I can't remember if the lake was named. They kept telling me not to wander far from the cabin as grizzlies were nearby.

Sorry Sandy but Sleeve and League were the answers. It is Slieve League in Ireland. Highest sea cliffs in the country. If you're ever near Donegal its a must.
