Sorry the background is a little flared out by the sun - starting to look like one of Mark's posts

Game AnnouncementHopefully that's big enough and bright enough to grab your attention.
I have made a couple of changes to the front page of the game, but since everyone doesn't visit that page much, here are the two important bits.
Game Rules
The GAME RULES now have there own Wiki page.
AND
Game Indexes
The 2009 Game Index for all images posting in 2009, is now available on the wiki.
The 2010 Game Index is still under development.
I hope you find the new INDEX useful. A 2010 version will be a few weeks in the making.
Caution: The index includes pictures and is big, so be cautious if you have a slow link. Do you think I should do a text only version?

Yep, and a nice angle of it that shows the ridgeline between the peak and The Cow, also visible I think is Esperance Peak and Hartz.
My fave place to stay on Bruny is high on the hill at Allonah looking back to these peaks, especially in winter.
Not sure where you are eggs, conglomerate and your history tells me West Coast somewhere, will leave it to one with more of a clue, maybe around Dundas???

Dundas is one of the peaks in the photo

PS - fantastic work walkinTas - a major, major effort.

Thanks Guys
I have placed
this topic on the forum so you can discuss any need for changes or improvements to
either any game Wiki Page.
PS:
Now you can see why I asked for captions.

Your caption will be the comment that ends up in this year's index.

Hmm..."Though I have noticed sometimes sarcasm can be lost on you IluvSWTas"
But seriously - you have put up some great photos - but a bright sky has been a feature of some and not just the odd one of yours. I guess this one was my turn.

Hahaha Oh your getting me some good ones aint ya! Yeh it's ok, if you giver it, you gotta be prepared to take it eh??

It looks like somewhere Tyndall Range? is this close?
Mon 09 Aug, 2010 12:40 pm
Yes - it is from the top of Mt Tyndall. This is an extended flatish top mountain with serious cliff lines along its north side and a steep roll-off on its west side.
This view is NW towards Mts Dundas (the big one) and Zeehan with Agnew/Heemskirk mostly washed out due to the bright sky.
Going south from this peak it dips down through a maze of rocky outcrops to a marvellous plateau riddled with small tarns and a few larger lakes.
Going east one ends up on top off an enormous 300m cliff which drops into Lake Huntley.

Haven't climbed any peaks in the Northern reserve, but it kinda reminds me of a pic from Barn Bluff?

Were you on the Overland Track looking back towards Benson Peak - from near the junction with the Lake Rodway track?
Edit - actually looking at my photos - I think you are on the Lake Rodway track just before it meets the OT
