I think I know this one. Daleys flat bridge (not too far before the hut), across the dart river?
Sun 05 May, 2024 7:30 am
Yes, that’s it. I didn’t need to cross this bridge as part of the Rees-Dart track - it looks quite intimidating!

I've not crossed it either, but I hear the tramping goes up a few notches in difficulty on the other side.
Staying in NZ. One of my all-time favourite spots.

I must have missed this on the drive from the west coast to Christchurch, Cave Stream waterfall?
Fri 10 May, 2024 5:03 pm
Yes John.
Well kitted folk descend at this point to go right through the cave system and come out the other end.
Fri 10 May, 2024 5:38 pm
Thanks eggs. I've done some caving but wasn't kitted for such on that trip.

But this is in the UK

New(ish) if not fresh, hehe.
I believe that may be Stirling Castle in the background.
Thu 16 May, 2024 1:15 pm
Actually - I am on Stirling Castle - at back is the Wallace Monument.
Your turn Greg

We can't seem to tempt any newcomers, so here goes again.
I have never visited Japan but my research is telling me this is from within the Wada House in Shirakawa-go.
It is a Gassho-zukuri farmhouse owned by the Wada family, one of the wealthiest families and village leaders of Ogimachi.

Correct John.

Correct norts. Something of a bushwalkers/hikers paradise.
We were staying within walking distance so I was tempted into buying a few things.

Never been there, I googled REI/Starbucks. I have been to a few of their stores.
Where is this Wally, some where in the USA for sure.
Fri 24 May, 2024 10:12 am
He is going from one US state to another

Looks like no other takers.
Bridge of the Gods between Washington and Oregon states near North Bonneville, also part of the PCT route I believe.
Apparently named after a historic land bridge on the Columbia River.
I hope you're not on the actual roadway with 2 lanes of traffic bearing down!
Sat 25 May, 2024 9:13 am
Yes that is it John.
Yes I am on the PCT and there is no walkway on the bridge so you have to be careful.
