Summer Snow hits Perisher

The Snowy Mountains celebrated its first snowfall of 2017 overnight on Sunday with Perisher recording snow across its four resort areas.

It is quite traditional for there to be snow, sleet or hail around the Xmas - Boxing Day period.
We have known it go from a hot day with a clear blue sky to a severe hailstorm in 2 hours flat during Autumn.
These are our mountains: treat them with respect.
