Hi all,
Planning to spend some time at Mt Dingo in September. Does anyone know if there is a water supply there? If so, what's the quality like? Happy to boil and/or use purification tablets.
Thanks in advance.
Cheers,
D

No water on the tops - but there should be water at Mobbs Soak.

I agree with Dave. However, if it is raining you can collect water from the shallow pools that form on the rocky plateau areas, particularly the north part of Mt Merrimerigal. I have done this twice in the past when traversing the Wild Dogs when it happened to be raining. This allowed us to camp on the tops without deviating to Mobbs. You'll need a cup or bowl, as the pools are only a few cm deep and It will need a filter/treatment.
