Can anyone recommend a 4 day coastal loop hike?

Wed 15 Jan, 2014 2:40 pm

A group of friends and I are hoping to make the journey north and check out some of the New South Wales coast in around a months time. It's proving very difficult to find an appropriate hike online. The following are our preferences, although suggestions don't need to satisfy all:

The further south the better as we are driving from Melbourne. Northern Victoria would also be fine.
Either mostly coastal or a place to swim and/or fish at a couple of points of the hike.
Unfortunately as we will be driving we need to finish where we start or bus back to the car. A loop hike is preferable so we continue to see new things.
60-90km is ideal. Looking to walk for between 3 and 5 days.
Beautiful nature!

If anyone could help me out or point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated. Thanks! :D

Nadgee / Cape Howe (Nadgee NP) offers a few options for loops but its best as a through walk. Mixed landscape coastal walking with great camps, plenty of good swimming fishing. Mallacoota to Wigans Inlet is another (Croajingalong NP) The Light to Light (Boyd NP) through to Merica River Ranger station is another.
