Colo River Area - Crossing D'Arcy Range from Tootie Creek

Mon 13 Apr, 2015 12:29 pm

Hi all,

Hope all is well.

I am doing the Mountain Lagoon Loop via Colo Meroo and Tootie Creek, however, I'd like to lengthen the classic trek/raft by going from Tootie Creek to Mailes Cave by crossing over D'Arcy Range. Has anyone done this? Does anyone know if it is possible to find a passable route from Tootie Creek over D'Arcy Range and arrive somewhere near Mailes Cave? Doing so would allow us to get some extra mileage on the river in our packrafts.

Looking forward to any help that you can offer.

Thanks,

Daniel

Liloing at the moment would be fun. Colo's at 8m and rising! You'd cover the river bit in a couple of hours at most!

My wife and I once went when it was 5m, but bailed out.
