Has anyone hiked from Bullocks Flat to Perisher I know NPWS are planning a major walking trail to link them but is there a negotiated route or preferred approach people have taken?

Apart from going directly up through the scrub options are slim.
The long option could look something like this - You could head southwest along the Thredbo River track to Thredbo or Dead Horse Gap and then over to Charlotte pass and along the old Kosciuszko road to Perisher.
